Stage 11 - Descent

As we enter Stage 11, we have just come from experiencing our oneness with the Universal Spirit Energy in Stage 10. We are now descending back into our lives with a new consciousness that makes the daily grind a joyful experience for which we are eternally grateful. We see that everything in our lives is necessary and we feel an acceptance of our being with all the things that may not have been to our liking in earlier stages of healing.

As with most of the other stages, Stage 11 has three phases: recognition, communication and completion.

When we first recognize the Stage 11 experience, it begins with a knowing that there is a universal source of all love, power and consciousness. This is not a conceptual understanding but a vibrational awareness that permeates into every fibre of our being and every cell of our body. We feel it. We are it. We resonate with it.

In Stage 10, we were connected to the universal source and temporarily removed from our lives. It’s like we escaped from our earthly plane and went to Heaven and we see and understand everything. We want to stay there forever but that is not our purpose when we are in a physical body. So in Stage 11, we descend back into our lives with the awareness that we are still connected to this source. We bring this connection into our lives transforming what was previously mundane into awesome practices of spiritual connection, gratitude and wonder.

As we communicate with the rhythm of Stage 11, we learn that we have gifts of great value that must be shared. The specific gifts we have are a result of our physicality and they are there to be given to others. While we may not know what these gifts are, we know that in giving to others that we receive. In giving, we learn more about what we have to give and we experience the richness and value of our gifts.

We spontaneously forgive. We are no longer hooked by the stories of who did what and what was withheld from us. We know that love is to be given and are not concerned with receiving it. We know from our connection with the source in Stage 10 that love is all there is, that its flow is limitless and our job is simply to share it. Giving and receiving are the same thing. We receive love through sharing it.

Prayers go from being concepts we repeat to something we live. When we say, “On Earth as it is in Heaven,” we feel that we are living and feeling it. That it resides within us and exists all around us.

In the completion phase, life really does go on. The same relationships, job, tasks and challenges still present themselves, however we descend into them with a sense of total connection and love. There is no longer competition for energy with others. There is no sense of mine and yours. There is simply the flow.

Life becomes the practice of being. We live in awe, wonder and gratitude and we learn to experience this as we carry out all our tasks of everyday life. This practice sustains the Stage 11 consciousness and allows us to bring the Universal Energy into all we encounter.

As we experience the joy of giving, we also get the pleasure of receiving from others. This is often much more difficult than giving! As we delve deeper into receiving the gifts of others we move toward Stage 12.
